Recently, I had an interesting email discussion with one of my students. We were in the middle of the term for the course Exercise Programming and Testing, and had already covered many topics, including the Fundamentals of Human Movement, Fitness Assessment, Flexibility, Core and Balance Training, Resistance Training Concepts, and Program Design. And, like many college courses, there doesn’t seem to be enough time to teach the basics, let alone appropriate & comprehensive practical application, or even at the very least, to have deeper discussions beyond the topics for the week.
